Guardy is open-source software licensed under the MIT License. You are free to use, modify, and distribute the software in accordance with the terms of the MIT License.

3. Use of Software

Guardy is provided as a git hook management and security scanning tool. You may use it for:

  • Managing git hooks in your repositories
  • Scanning for secrets and sensitive data
  • Enforcing commit message conventions
  • Any other lawful purposes consistent with its design

In no event shall DeepBrain Space or the Guardy contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the software.

6. Security Scanning Limitations

While Guardy includes secret scanning capabilities, it is not a guarantee of complete security. Users are responsible for:

  • Implementing additional security measures
  • Regularly reviewing their security practices
  • Not relying solely on automated tools for security

7. Data Collection

Guardy runs entirely locally on your machine and does not transmit any data to external servers. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

8. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

9. Open Source Compliance

If you distribute modified versions of Guardy, you must comply with the MIT License terms, including attribution requirements.
